Studies ESPN X Games cities to host the X Games
The ESPN sports channel analyzes American U.S. cities to host future editions of the X Games.
Up to today, more than twenty cities have passed into the second stage of the selection process.
Two U.S. cities will be selected as a host for the X Games for 3 consecutive years; one for the Winter X Games and the other, for the Summer ones.
Last October, ESPN announced that was exploring new locations in North America to move the event there as the agreements with Los Angeles and AEG Partner Aspen Skiing Company (ASC) are coming to an end in 2013 and 2014, respectively. All entities interested becoming home of the X Games have already submitted their letters of intent.
The first period of housing will start in 2014 and the second, in 2015. The aim is to explore the various options and determine what is the best for the progress and growth of the X Games franchise.
