X Games Aspen is the event of the Winter Olympics in Sochi 2014 and Queralt Castellet is seen as the best option for eligible national Olympic medal in the Olympics to be held in Russia next year. The Catalan athlete is one of two professional women capable of performing in a 1080 competition.

Queralt Castellet, 23, will participate in X Games Aspen with big names in snowboarding, all from the US, except the Australian Torah Bright. "This is the most important event of the season and I feel strong. Only the best 'riders' to 'pipe' will be there," said the Catalan snowboarder. Queralt debouted with 17 years in the Winter Olympics in Turin in 2006 and, since then, she has been in numerous championships, including the medal at X Games Tignes 2011.
