X Games Barcelona with the Zurich Marató

This weekend Barcelona is the capital of the athletics and X Games Barcelona will be in this important event

One of the most important European athletics events celebrates this weekend his 35th edition and X Games Barcelona will be there: Zurich Marató of Barcelona. And a good example of this importance are the 18.500 athletes that are registered to take part in this marathon. To encourage the athletes those days before and during the race, X Games Barcelona has prepared some activities. This weekend, we will be at the Expo Sports, everyone can come to our stand and know what will happen between the 16th and 19th of May in Barcelona. Also, the day before the race, when the Breakfast Run is celebrated, a four-kilometer test where the athletes have to run around the lasts kilometers of the circuit of the Olympic Games of Barcelona '92,  we will play musica and encourage the 2.000 athletes who will participate in this event and put a video with a motivational phrases for 'finishers'.

Among those athletes, we have to follow the Africans groups because, probably, of these athletes will be the winner. Perhaps, the favorite to cross the finish arch in the first position is the Kenyan Joseph Kimeli Lagat, although other names like Abraham Keter, Linus Maiyo, Peter Kariuki or Martin Kiprugut also can fight for the victory. Among the local athletes, Nacho Cáceres, Jaume Leiva or Marc Roig are the main names. In women, Irene Mogaka and Alemework Fekadu are called to be the queens of the Marató.
