Already you can play in X Fest

The talent contest where 25 djs and bands will play in X Games Barcelona has been extended until the 15th of april

Until the 15th of april will be open the Talent Contest so if you have not decided, you have the opportunity to stay on the stage of the X Fest.

There are only two requirements to be able to participate: candidates must be over 16 years old and they have to meet the musical styles, hip hop or indie rock. Apart from that, bands could not be more than four people in order to guarantee the correct organization of the performances. You can send your application in digital format by linking the website where the DJ or the bands have their musical contents.

Prepare an email adress with your basical details: name, surnames, email and telephone as well as your or your band’s artistic name. In case of being a group, each member needs to be introduced. Applications must be sent between before 15th abril 2013 [email protected]. In this email you have to include these links:

- Application video
: Introduce yourself and show us your qualities on a stage. We want to see how you move. In case of being a band, each member has to introduce in the candidacy video. Give us a piece of music in which your style and music are clearly seen. That will make you become known in the world. The video can not be longer than 1 minut.

- Demo tape/ digital portfolio: 
We want to listen to you. Send us a link so we can listen to your personal and genuine pieces of music, those you go on about with your friend and you are really proud of. We need between 3 and 5 of your themes. You can send them by SoundCloud or Mixcloud.

The 15th of april the registration form period expires and X Games musical programming team will meet up to select candidates from. The election process will be developed in two ways: the musical programming team will select 20 of these bands whereas the other 5 will be selected by our fans in our fanpage X Games Barcelona. So a total of 25 artists will play at the X Fest. The next April 18 we will announce the 20 selected artists as well as 10 finalist proposals that will be published in our X Games Facebook page so fans can vote them between April 22 to 29, 2013. The 5 most voted will add the 20 already selected bands, and the first of May we will say what is the musical poster of the X Games Barcelona X Fest.
