Speed & Style will be in X Games Barcelona

Best Trick is removed from the competition and Speed & Style will take its place

One of the Moto X modalities will change after the X Games organization decision of removing the event of Best Trick and in X Games Barcelona it will be Speed & Style in its place. It is a positive change since the new event will let us see the development of two in one skills: speed and style. Riders will not only show their ability with the acrobatics in the main jump, as they already did in Best Trick, but they will also have the additional difficulty of doing as fast as possible the rest of the small jumps they will find all along the circuit. So the best riders of the world will have to demonstrate their skills flying through the air as well as their riding level in order to face a demanding route.

In this event of Speed & Style, riders will meet in qualifying rounds where it will give off sparks to get the next round. It should be noted a peculiarity in this competition: the rider in second place can win if he/she gets a higher score than the opponent in the assessment of the style.

In this way, everything is ready for Speed & Style to lift public up their seats the 16th of may in the Palau Sant Jordi and get them out of breath by this combination of skills and speed that riders will have to show.
