WATX, the UB project inspired by the X Games Barcelona

The University of Barcelona gets closer to the X Games Barcelona by the hand of WATX (We Are The X)

A few weeks ago the X Games Barcelona and the University of Barcelona launched an action for university students to present a communication project during the competition. A practical case on a real case: how to conceptualize, plan and execute the coverage of an international event in their own media. Today we present the results: WATX, We are the X.

WATX is a project consisting of 8 young university students from different profiles and inquisitivness who follow very closely each of the areas and disciplines that draw the spectacular event. From the task of informing and educating the consumer of the Marketing and Communication Department to the hidden aspects of the Medical Area of the X Games Barcelona, always linking each of their items with the different specialties of the university.

A study which demonstrates that all sectors of the city will live X Games Barcelona, forming a large network of people involved in the affair that will make Barcelona vibre. Barcelona will breathe the X Games, not only the days of competition but also during the previous days to the starting signal of the biggest spectacle of action sports.
