X Games Barcelona starts today!

Skateboard will inaugurate the first competition day with the SLS Select Series, the Park elimination and the Vert final.


Today the first edition of the X Games in Europe starts and has its first stop in Barcelona in what will be four days of authentic show and action-packed emotion. The competition kicks off this morning with three skateboard modalities: the SLS Select Series, the Park elimination, and the Vert final. In the first one, these are the skaters that will try to obtain a place in the SLS Qualifier:

In the Skateboard Vert final, which will take place at the Piscina Municipal de Salts, the main candidates stand out for having a very long career and for being four of the best skaters in the world. Thus, Pierre-Luc Gagnon, one of the most technical and who has won 18 medals (8 of them gold), Bucky Lasek, a legend of the X Games and gold in Brazil, and Bob Burnquist and Andy Macdonald, second and third athletes with most medals in the X Games, will fight to repeat medal in Barcelona.
