Bob Burnquist: "I'm living in a dream. I just can't believe it"

The Brazilian and Jamie Bestwick make their legend bigger and Mike Mason dominates the Speed & Style

The Street League Skateboarding Quailifier made us know who will compete in the final to be held tomorrow at 4pm. Paul Rodriguez was first in the Top 8 with a 32.20 score. Behind him were Manny Santiago with 28.90 (who came from qualifying at the Select Series yesterday), Torey Pudwill and the gold medalist in Foz Nyjah Huston with 28.30, Luan Oliveira (27.60), Sean Malto (26.80), Mikey Taylor (26.60) and Chris Cole (26.10).

The BMX Freestyle Vert final was next. In a spectacular atmosphere at the Piscina Municipal de Salts and with the presence of Travis Pastrana, Jamie Bestwick was again the winner claiming his eighth consecutive gold medal in a BMX Vert final. Behind him were Simon Tabron, who took silver, and Vince Byron, who won bronze.

The Palau Sant Jordi has been the venue for the last two finals of the day. In the first one, the Moto X Speed & Style, Mike Mason took gold after beating Mat Rebeaud in a fantastic run. The bronze went to Nate Adams, another medal to the American after he defeated André Villa. Edgar Torronteras did a fantastic run in his birthday, but he was out of the fight for the medals. The Spaniard only thinks about the Moto X Best Whip final to be held on Sunday at 7pm, where we will have to help him by Twitter jump onto the podium to get the gold. Jose Miralles could not make it, either. 

This Friday finished with the Skateboard Big Air final at a Palau Sant Jordi with 22,800 spectators where the insatiable Bob Burnquist has expanded his track record repeating the gold achieved in Brazil a month ago. "I'm living in a dream. I just can't believe it", stated the Skateboard legend. The first 1080 in the history of the X Games, landed by Mitchie Brusco, the surprise of the X Games Barcelona, hasn’t been enough to hang the gold but to overcome Elliot Sloan and take the silver.
