X Games Munich, third day

Daniel Dhers gets his fifth gold medal at X Games and Liam Doran takes over the first end of Rally Cross


Follow the excitement in the X Games Munich. Although postponed to Sunday Skateboard Big Air, Enduro X, the day offered both in the final show of BMX Park as the first of Ford RallyCross.

The Venezuelan Daniel Dhers won his fifth gold medal in a X Games after a brilliant performance in BMX Park. A Dhers that since 2011 in Los Angeles not stepped on the podium and managed in Munich, with tricks like a no-handed 720 corked, get the highest score of the final. So with 84 points defeated Scotty Cranmer (82 points) and Daniel Sandoval (78 points).

In the first Ford RallyCross final victory was decided on the last leg of the circuit. Liam Doran, who ran half of the race with a punctured rear tire, ahead of Ken Block at the last corner to win and on top of the podium. The third place went to Toomas Heikkinen. The rematch will take place today from 17h.

Due to weather conditions and in order to preserve the safety of the athletes and attendees the submitting of X Games has been forced to cancel Moto X Freestyle.
