For the first time in history a female compete in X Games Moto X Best Whip

The driver, winner of the last two editions of the Women's Moto X Racing in Los Angeles, invited to compete against Jeremy Stenberg, Nate Adams Edgar Torronteras or in the Moto X Best Whip at X Games Los Angeles.

"Best Whip has always been one of my favorite events and this year I've been throwing a lot of whips and getting some good footage," says Golden, who will be the first woman to compete in the event. "I sent some photos and video clips off to X Games with high hopes and then didn't really hear anything at first. And then when I got the invite in the email I couldn't believe it. I wasn't sure if it was a joke or if I should be stoked."

This is not the first time that the American pilot gets into land of men since last month came to form part of the "bad boys' club" as be confirmed as the first woman in history to be part of the Metal Mulisha Team.

Catalan Edgar Torronteras participate again in Los Angeles in the Moto X Best Whip,  a competition in which is the public through Twitter who decides the winner. The voting system is very simple, to vote the favorite trick to send a tweet that incorporating a particular hashtag, communicated by ESPN in the hours before the competition and the driver's name. Torronteras won public favor and hang gold in Barcelona, taking silver at the X Games in Foz do Iguaçu and the X Games Munich.

The Moto X Best Whip will be held on Thursday August 1 at 9pm (Los Angeles time) and you can follow live through the U.S. network ESPN.
