Morgan Wade and Nate Adams get their first X Games gold on a GoPro BMX Big Air and Moto X Speed & Style
In the X Games there is always a time for the first time. Morgan Wade won the first gold medal in GoPro BMX Big Air. And with it, the three colors collects medal after winning silver and bronze in Munich in Foz do Iguaçu. Second place Vince Byron signed a 540 double tailwhip and Zack Warden bronze. Kevin Robinson, one of the most acclaimed by the public for his last performance in a X Games, finished fifth.
In Moto X Speed & Style Nate Adams was reunited with podium (not done in this discipline since 2011), after beating Blake Williams in the final.
In Moto X Step Up, Ronnie Renner got his fifth X Games gold in each, ahead of Libor Podmol and Matt Buyten.
And in qualifying for Nyjah Huston Street League Skateboarding silenced all those who believed that his recent injury undermine his performance in Los Angeles, being the first of the round. The remaining podium positions, no surprises: Paul Rodriguez and Luan Oliveria demonstrated their perfect shape ahead of next Saturday's final.
