Big fits better
'lamono' magazine makes a big party and X Games Barcelona goes there to know the principals news
We like small things that are done with love and dedication. And this is the case of 'lamono' magazine, which last 8th of March, claiming that #bigfitsbetter presented his new format XXL, in a big party of the same size.
We were in a unique setting, Club Filipinas in the Plaza Reial -in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona- surrounded by photons of Kassia Meador, Aaron Dodds, Jaka Babnik and Dany Peschl. And with a Seagrams. Faced with this challenge, we could not resist the temptation and stayed.
Surrounded by familiar faces, we talked with Maider from Quiksilver about Aritz Aranburu interview that we published a few weeks ago. He also commented that the brand continues to invest in Barcelona and she informed us about the imminent opening of a new store in Barceloneta, legendary point for surfers of our city. We drank another Seagrams.
The spectacular live performance of The Johnny Freelance Experience, brutal voice Bibang Afrika, which was accompanied Nicholas D. Tavola on trumpet and brutal drums power of Didi Lezcano. Incredible.
We found a Anthya from 'lamono'. She was exultant and happy with the new big stage and size of the magazine, which by the way, wearing a hat canyon. We explained that this step involves greater international travel, investing more content in English, more pages, large format and new design. A challenge that we are sure will be a resounding success.
We laugh with Valenti San Juan, who just released etiquetats, the first program of TV3 online and interactiv. 'Visto lo visto' has more than 1.5m views. It ad a great time.
'lamono' began in December 2003 and is distributed for free in 'hot spots' of Barcelona and Madrid. Their weapons: art and critical thinking, culture flag. Lamono talk of culture, underground aesthetics, urban life, emerging artists of national and international scene, illustrators, photographers, pop surrealist painters or young innovators, showing art as something that goes beyond trends, providing depth and consistency.
Long live for lamono and #gas
